Greg’s Journey

Human beings represent the heart of all complex systems. Sustainable change requires being able to understand our inner landscape and embark on a journey to discover our true potential. As your coach, we will begin a journey to re-cover your heart's intent, the very thing you yearn to do, and to become.

I offer you:

the open mind of an artist,

the critical thinking of a scientist,

the passionate heart of a leader,

the optimistic accountability of a coach,

and the compassionate soul of a fellow adventurer.

My friends regard me as a modern day renaissance man, perhaps as a way of describing the breadth of my interests rather than the depth.  I have passions and skills ranging from writing poetry, restoring old VWs, building houses, to coaching innovation. I graduated from Oregon State University in 1988 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  While engineering provided me access to my employment with Hewlett Packard,  my career has afforded me many opportunities to grow.  I have held many positions: from designer, system architect, project manager, entrepreneur, employee engagement lead and innovation coach.  In 1999 I received my MS in Management of Technology.  In December  2013, I received my coaching certification from Hudson Institute.

Having spent years researching and applying complex adaptive theory to innovation systems, I am continually reminded of the complex role that humans play in all the systems we design.
